Tesseract 0.11.37 adds Antigravity CLI, Google's coding agent, as its 14th framework. Pick it for a conversation and it works there beside Claude Code, Codex or any of the other frameworks in theirs, with a code editor, a terminal, a live preview and a plan you approve before it acts.

## How Tesseract runs it

Tesseract runs Antigravity CLI through the official server Google publishes for editors and other apps. Tesseract installs and updates it for you from Google's own release, or uses the copy already on your computer.

Antigravity CLI runs with your own sign-in in Antigravity, or with a Gemini API key. Which accounts and plans Google allows for which uses is Google's to say: its [Antigravity FAQ](https://antigravity.google/docs/faq/) has the details. Tesseract itself is free and adds no charge on top.

## Set it up

1. **Update Tesseract** to 0.11.37 or later. It updates itself; to check now, open **Settings → About → Check for updates**.
2. **Pick Antigravity CLI** in **Settings → Frameworks**, or on the first-run screen. Tesseract installs it.
3. **Start a conversation** and choose Antigravity CLI in the framework menu next to the message box. The menu changes that conversation only.

Each conversation keeps its own framework, so Antigravity CLI can work in one while [Claude Code and Codex work in others](https://tesseract.dev/blog/claude-code-codex-and-opencode-side-by-side/?utm_source=re0gfo). You can also move a conversation from one framework to another, and it carries everything said so far.

## What works with it

From Tesseract's own framework catalog, on the [Antigravity CLI page](https://tesseract.dev/agents/antigravity-cli/?utm_source=2ysxn3):

- It asks you before a risky tool call.
- You pick the model for each message and choose how hard it thinks.
- You can send it images and files, and it can drive a real browser.
- It uses Tesseract's tools, your MCP servers, skills and extensions, and subagents.
- You can pick up a past conversation, fork one, or restore files to an earlier message.
- It shows a reviewable diff of everything it changed.
- It shows how full its context window is, and compacts a long conversation to keep going.
- It keeps working when you step away, runs scheduled, repeating jobs and checks its own work before it finishes.
- You get an integrated terminal, and you can search everything it has said.

**Not with Antigravity CLI yet:** running inside the operating system's sandbox, and the cost of every conversation.

## Around it

Everything else in the window is the same for every framework: the editor with a file tree and tabs, the terminal, a live preview, Chat, Plan or Full access for each conversation, and a browser the agent can drive. That is what we mean by [an agentic IDE](https://tesseract.dev/agentic-ide/?utm_source=t635r1).

## Try it

[Download Tesseract](https://tesseract.dev/?utm_source=6hhzps), pick Antigravity CLI in Settings → Frameworks, and start a conversation with it.
